Relic Wood Update on Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Governor Cooper Announces Statewide Stay at Home Order Until April 29. Social distancing mandated.

“Social Distance Requirements” as used in this Executive Order means:

a. maintaining at least six feet distancing from other individuals

b. washing hands using soap and water for at least twenty seconds as frequently as possible or the use of hand sanitizer;

c. regularly cleaning high-touch surfaces;

d. facilitating online or remote access by customers if possible

To met the requirements of this Executive order, Relic Wood manufacturing facility will be operating with limited staff to fill our orders March 30th – April 29th. At this time we feel this is the best decision for the safety of our employees and our customers. We will still be shipping all In Stock orders, and currently we are ahead of our estimated shipping dates for custom orders. Owners Micah & Melissa Breden will be personally seeing that our customers are taken care of and shipped on time.

We are monitoring the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation closely and are working to ensure we meet the needs of our customers as well as provide for the health and safety of our employees. We realize this health situation has already been disruptive to many businesses across the globe and wanted to share facts about what we’re doing to support our customers and our employees health practices.

What we’re doing to support our customers –

Currently our manufacturing facility is operating with minimal staff. Our shipping department is open, well supplied, and we are working vigorously to fulfill every order we receive. Lucky for us (and you) we are the manufacturer and the retailer of our handcrafted products and they are only made available for purchase online. We ship them directly to you via Fedex and USPS. This means we have no retail locations that might need to be closed.

It is important to understand that if you place an order with us during these times of emergency, and IF there is a disruption to our shipping carriers, we will not be providing refunds for any custom order, or in stock order, but will fulfill each and every order immediately once the shipping carrier can resume their service to us. We appreciate your understanding in this matter and applaud your commitment to purchasing USA handcrafted products.

We are a small family owned business with less than 10 full time employees occupying a 24,000 sq. ft. woodworking facility. Plenty of social distancing here, as no two employees occupy a single work space. For your safety and ours, our employees will wash their hands before each shift, as well as after every break. We wear protective eye wear and dust masks as we are in a manufacturing environment so this is mandatory. If for any reason an employee does not feel well, we have asked them to please remain at home instead of coming into work.

The good news is we have plenty of supplies to build your custom orders, our stock product shelves are full, and we have the ability to service our current customers as well as future ones.

Should we not be able to be resupplied by our vendors, and there is a chance we cannot fulfill your order, we will be the first to tell you as extremely satisfied customers is our #1 priority.

As the situation evolves, know that we will be reacting in real-time to make sure our customers well-being and satisfaction is foremost in all our actions.
