When it comes to testing the limits of endurance, the Vertical Mile Challenge is insane. The goal is to run one vertical mile up, and one vertical mile down over the course of 15 miles or so at the beautiful Rocky Face Recreational Area. This year over 200 runners showed up to battle it out with Rocky Face Mountains steep terrain.
We were honored to be involved in this local event and proudly donated two handcrafted Custom Milepost Signs for the Alexander County Fastest Overall Female and Male winners. Congratulations Marissa and Barry on your completion of this race with the fastest times of all Alexander County residents.
